Bilingual Expert Group Underwriter

Medavie Blue Cross is hiring a bilingual Expert Group Underwriter in its Group Insurance Pricing team. The role sets renewal and quote pricing for large, complex corporate groups across health, life and disability, analyzes experience and trends, answers client inquiries on pricing and plan design, mentors underwriters and prepares financial statements and agreements. Requires a post-secondary degree in business, math, actuarial science, statistics or finance, 10-15 years of progressive group underwriting experience and strong Excel. Proficiency in English and French is required. Remote role also open to candidates in other provinces.
