Bilingual Senior Group Underwriter (Remote)

Medavie Blue Cross is hiring a bilingual Senior Group Underwriter to work remotely with the Group Insurance Pricing team. Duties include setting pricing for RFPs, renewals and benefit modifications in group health, life and disability, drafting financial agreements and reports, negotiating files with group insurance advisors and training junior underwriters. Requires a post-secondary degree in business, math, actuarial science, statistics or finance and 5-10 years in group insurance pricing. Proficiency in English and French is required. Open to candidates in 10 provinces and territories including New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Ontario.
